The place where I live is the Far East, Japan, the edge of the world.
Just until recently, Japan was under an illusion that we were a great economic power or in the heart of the world.
However, as a matter of fact, it is just the edge of the world in every respect such as politics and culture.
If we are in the center of big whirlpool, we might lose ourselves or the general figure of the world.
But from the edge, things could be seen much better.
I feel interest to be living in Kochi, it is sometimes called the southwest Japan.
It is further end and further eastern of the world.
